Why, when people leave the site, do verifications have to disappear?? As with old messages, why can't they instead remain and simply state "user no longer on site" in place of the username? Veris are an important aspect of fab, which people use to assess the viability of a potential meet, the character of members, and indeed how genuine people are. Could this be changed? Would members welcome this change? Jx |

A verification means your real and of the sex you say you are so the tick is all you really need, the text means nothing the person could still stand you up, be an idiot or be just not as good as the verification made out |

I disagree. The written verifications give, as I said, an insight into the character of the individual & an indication of what can be expected from a meet with them. Personally, I think they're useful - there's a lot more to knowing someone is a) real b) the sex they say they are |

Id also like the option to either leave your username on a verivication or opt out by leaving an anonymous verication too |

I get what you mean but one person's idea of how someone acts can be totally different from how you find them, i feel you should get to know the person not what a verification says about them |

You're right, but the verification at least gives you an idea of who you're getting to know. Personally I see absolutely no downside to the veris remaining - they were genuinely given, and can be hidden by the recipient at any time of they wish. Why remove them? |

we'd be highly suspicious of anyone who's verification list was a long line of UNLOS... |

Again, why would anyone have a long list of UNLOS? The user can be selective over which veris and how many to display. My point is that, at present, the recipient has absolutely no control |

"The written verifications give, as I said, an insight into the character of the individual & an indication of what can be expected from a meet with them." I think that the text of a verification would actually give you much more an insight into the character of the UNLOS.

Am I the only person on here who thinks repeat verifications are unnecessary? A verification is to show the person is genuine and turns up to meet. Of course a description of their allure is good too but do we really need to see loads of other veris from the same person after subsequent meets? I have had several meets with some of my verifiers but I don't see any point in further veris. |

Totally agree some people use them as a grading system,, have seen 4 or 5 veris from the same person on a profile |

Thanks for your reply and I'm glad someone agrees with me! I had a man pursuing me who I wasn't interested in anyway but he had literally dozens of veris from the same woman, they were almost every other day, they met again, the sex gets better etc.! How boring. I blocked him in the end. |

I tend to display just my most recent veri from someone who's verified me multiple times. Especially if it's been months between meets. I like to think it shows that I'm still active and meeting on the site x |

In the past I've called out guys on fake veris, including an incredibly shady looking creep with with a string of veris from two unbelievably pretty girls aged 19 who continually went overboard in their description of his prowess. They both had one very basic veri from this guy, yet poured repeated praise upon him in numerous veris each. A reverse image search unsurprisingly turned up the girls pics on porn sites. I called him out on it reported it too. He and his verifiers vanished immediately. |

If a user who verified you got banned, it may be reasonable in admins view that the text disappears - otherwise decent members who have been using the site for it's intended purpose, should get the choice of retaining the fuller veri including text Imo. |
