Some of the threads on the forums are hard enough to follow without chopping great chunks out of them because some one leaves.  |

I think (and am often wrong when i think) that if a user had started a thread and left the site then that thread was deleted also but people requested that this stopped.
So, now any thread started by, or posted to by a user who leaves stays on the forum. This is so that the flow of the thread isnt disrupted.

Not quite but nearly... if someone started a thread and then left the site the thread got lost more than deleted and was only found again if someone posted on it. Admin made it so you can see them again.  |
