Yes this idea would be great as some of the regions are spamming well over 150 miles..
Counties would be much better, i.e.
Devon
Cornwall
Nottinghamshire
Oxfordshire
Etc.. there are 48 in England alone
Let's have more fun x

Problem with counties comes when you are on the border for a few, like myself. Parts of my county are over an hours drive, whereas Manchester, Derbyshire, and Staffs, are all within 25 minutes... I agree about a Yorkshire region though. |

Yorkshire is the biggest county
Yet doesn't have its own area in fab
But might have the most fab members
It's crazy that we are either east miss or north east
We are neither and 2 hours drive from them both
Let's have Yorkshire please |

Yes this will work when searching for profiles. BUT most of us in this post are referring to meets & requests page where can cannot easily to filter down |

I was just about to raise this in a new thread, but luckily did a search for "Yorkshire".
I've asked Admin several times if Yorkshire can be added, but my question seems to fall on deaf ears.
All these tweaks they keep making are ... interesting, but would it be so difficult to add Yorkshire? It's not as if we're asking them for separate parts of Yorkshire - that would be good, but I am a realist.

The regions and locations do seem a little muddled.
I've no idea what system they are using to manage this site, but adding a few more regions to the drop down box does not seem unreasonable.
I'd probably delist the postcode from the region to. Let people decide which region their postcode best fits. |

I heard that in the early days the people who started fab asked for donations to pay towards the website and as a reward you could set an area up in the search section.
Rumour has it that no Yorkshire folk donated as they were to t'tight

Yorkshire, get in the cue....
East Anglia really needs to be a stand alone area ....
As an aside we don't think it really much of an issue after all don't most search by postcode? and when looking at meets there are not so many that it's a burden to look through 2 or 3 areas |
