There are other sites mention no names that have many more options than gay bi or straight ,as is right .

Most people on here are saying fab straight to highlight this point.

Isnt it about time this site moved with the times to represent everyone fairly?...

The right to leave this section blank should be allowed if not .

Fab straight = straight on your profile but meeting men.

So bi and not wanting to advertise it.

How could there be a category for that?

How about the option to leave your personal choice to later to be undecided more or less than curious .How about the option to say undecided or leave the whole section blank

The gender is input to allow it to be searched by people looking for that gender. Leave it blank and the profile won't appear on any searches. No problem if you're not looking to meet but if thats the case, why be on Fab?

I don't know what sites you may mean, but, I haven't seen anything wild when I've wasted my time looking at other sites.

The only option I could think of that represents this would be MSM - Men who have sex with men.

Otherwise you are going to get a Q&A on the Kinsey / Klein scale of things...

Fab Straight means more to do with Bi male phobia in the swinging community :-/

It's a bit like gender... It can get a bit buzz kill if you were to include *all* the options in the rainbow.

Does't make you right either

But the choice is still mine whether to meet single bisexual men or not, and I choose not to

Just as it is your choice not to want to meet me for whatever reason. Whatever your reason for not meeting me is fine by me. I will neither ask for the 'whys' or 'hows' nor will I try and explain or justify

I'm content with putting bi on my profile, but it does make me laugh going in the bi chat room and the number of "straight" guys on cam wearing lingerie and wanking.

Maybe rather than add yet more labels we tackle the phobia that leads people to state straight when clearly they are not

Maybe they could invent a "self absorbed diva" catageory, i think you would find that helpful ?

I agree with eandj your determination to have your own category while being condescending to others is quite offensive, and i can see why eandj are taking issues with your comments.

If you don't like the site -leave.

Cds, tv, ts are all lumped into one category. It's for convenience. It's called narrowing the search. I'm more an hpw, and i'm clear about that on my profile. It's what profiles are for, telling a bit more about yourself.

The category narrows the search, the profile narrows it more, and then actually communicating with the person will narrow it even further. It's not that much effort.

Go and look at the same question for cd/tv/ts there could be about 30 different sub-options in that one subheading. All taking up precious bandwidth.

There are fetish sites that pander to extremes, perhaps they would be better suited ?

Being asexual isn't extreme in the slightest, but being a dick about it is.

As i said. The tv/ts/cds are vastly different categories. Apart from a few random spoilt petulant divas who want attention, most accept it is a basic description to assist you having to search everyones profile.

How dare you assume that tv/ts/cd are all the same and should be happy with their categorisation ?

Surely there should be pttv/fttv/tts/ntts/scd/pcd/ccd/scd/hpw/nhpw/gtv/nwwtv/atv/bhwp/sdcd how dare you oppress me !!

but on a site where people are generally looking for some sort of sexual encounter, it's you going to be very much a minority interest isn't it?

...I'd be careful what you wish for because if that kind of category came to be, I'll guarantee there'll be a demand for a filter and you'll pretty much find yourself filtered out...

nobody is saying you don't, but this is very much an opt in site isn't it? you're not compelled to be here you're choosing to be... and the "goods and services" on here aren't exactly subject to protected characteristics...in the end, there are probably sites more specialist to your needs that you can choose to be part of...

Your completely right but it will never change. The separate for tv/ts and cd has been a long running thing. Makes no difference as we all different as people anyway. It comes down to this does not matter if it's bi straight or Martian on there profile. If you like them and want to meet them does it really matter? You would get people that selected wrong category anyway I spoke to a guy once and he had watersports on his profile. He thought it was interests as he liked windsurfing.

At what point does one stop redefining little nuances to suite every tom, dick or henrieta and their own comfortable label? It's becoming a bit of an encyclopedia already on the forums. These no way they can suit everyone's personal preferences to how they wish to describe themselves. Surely that's what the profile is for...to add you extras in. When would it stop? In 6 months or a year there will be some new definitions depending upon behavioural practices and people will be asking for them next.

Some of us are attracted to people regardless of gender. Bisexual people can be found in all walks of society, and everywhere in the world. A lot of myths and misconceptions surround it though.

Bisexual people are like windscreen wipers they go both ways. Gay people are only attracted to the same sex.

Bisexuality is found in over 450 different animal species. Homophobia is found only in one!

Why are the people with all the answers and complaints about how the site should do this and that never site supporters?

If more people were then there would be more cash to fund this and that. Personally, you can't sum up sexuality with a couple of words, that's what your profile is for.

Basically you're complaining about a service you get for free.

Actually this site has quite a few boxes for kinks So im not talking about kinks further as i have no need to.

I have under a different profile been a site supporter before and its people who are satifisfied who join mostly, so thats self explanatory .

As for labels people should be able to use the right one and not have the wrong one put on them and no other choice.I have a valid point .
