A couple of days ago I received an unsolicited message detailing a very violent scenario. I reported it immediately but it looks like the sender is still on the site but has blocked me.
What is fab doing about this kind of thing? It is totally unacceptable for people to send messages like this and be allowed to remain on the site.

Thanks, I have sent them a message but am not sure I'll get a response.
I also want to raise awareness and let people know that this sort of thing is not ok. |

Sometimes it looks like they gave blocked you but actually admin have as part of their dealings with the report. They block each parties to avoid further contact. |

It's not fixed if the person is still on here bothering others.
Fab will take a bigger hit when all the women and couples get hacked off and leave as this is not a safe place for them. |

Also sometimes accounts are suspended. I had this when someone stole some pics of mine. I searched for their name and they were still online but someone confirmed that actually their account had been suspended.
I dint know why they do that rather than simply delete but the issue had been actioned. |

By online I mean I could see their account, they hadn't been online since I reported them. |

That's good to know, it would be good if there was a way of seeing that their account has been deleted though.
The message I received was so bad that my friend said it should be reported to the police so hopefully fab takes this seriously. |

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.
******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).
Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.
Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.
