Hi,
There have been a rash of attempts recently to get people to enter their Fab login details on other sites. If you do this your account on here WILL be compromised by hackers and spammers.
Only ever enter your login details on the www.FabSwingers.com website. NEVER, EVER, EVER enter them on other websites that "look like" or claim to be Fab. Specifically some of the sites claim to be "parties-fabswingers" or similar.
PLEASE BE VIGILANT
If you've entered your Fab login details anywhere but this site, please change your password on here and on your email account ASAP
Needless to say we are working behind the scenes to ensure that Fab remains spam and scam free and to close these type of things down.

Also - if someone mails you a site that asks for your Fab login details please report them ASAP and Admin will act quickly. Often these will be from another "hacked" account that has been tricked.

Also use different passwords for different sites.
It is common for hackers to use your email address with a comprised password on lots of sites to see if they can get in. |

whilst this thread is active, I must mention, do not ever give out personal details over the telephone when someone claiming to be from a company rings you. If you do then you could end up with a debt pinned on you that is not yours or worse. Tell them to put it in writing then you will deal with it. Guard your details well. |

We are all on more than one site in some cases, it's just about being careful, if you do use other sites use different passwords and if it looks suspicious it probably is.

There was a common one on MSN, too, which asked if you wanted to know who'd blocked you. It led to a fake MSN login to get your details. I still get a lot of spam from people I've only had contact with on MSN. |

Some sites (not Fabs) steal profiles from other more popular sites like Fabs to make it look like they have more people on than they really have.
