name and shame

i know we cant do that as its a no no on the rules but would it be something that admin would be able to do been unbiased

im not talking about if people dont meet as we all have our reasons but what about when say your a cpl or single man/women and you say no to meeting someone and they then send a nasty message back

i know we can report them but if admin had there own name and shame then other people might be able to avoid this person or people

dont know if its a good idea but let me know and be nice to me its only a question lol

I understand what you mean, but I think that the sort of behaviour that would earn a "name&shame" from Admin, if that existed, would be the type of thing that would already earn them a site ban.

One is not allowed to name and shame, what isn't good for you, maybe fine for someone else, though with a nasty message back, report asap

some things people do on here deserve namng and shaming. Admin should be able to approve this, particularly if they get a number of complaints about the same folks.

I had one woman, she conatcted me, wanted to meet, told me to book hotel nr her and then phone her when I was there. Foolishly I did and rang her, no answer, then went onlone and she blocked me.

I named and shamed, so others wouldnt suffer a similar fate, she got nohting I got part suspended for a year even though I recived "goodfor you" messages from some others.

People have to take responsibility for their own stupidity! If someone you've never met tells you to book a room near them and phone from the room, common sense would dictate it's a wind up!

If you're always being let down then change the way you select playmates. Meet socially first at a place convenient to you, don't make yourself look desperate by jumping through hoops!

If you use common sense we wouldn't need these weekly threads about naming and shaming!

well sassymissuk, being a woman you are lucky as you are in demand and could aesily meet every day of the week if you wished to do so. As a single male its not so easy, if you don't take a risk from time to time you never meet anyone, simple as that.

That is why some males on here have been members for years and have never met anyone.

You make it sound so easy, "change the way you select playmates." There isn't a queue for single males you know.

Speedy Pete is right as a bloke on ere we get dictated to terrible and some women on ere seem to loose any sort of manners, what kills me all my messages are polite and don't include fancy a fuck in them, yet most r ignored even a short no thank u is fine by me and I always thank someone for a polite reply. The only problem with the name and shame is if someone has a vendetta against someone, would be quite easy to dis credit a member on ere just because u don't like them!

Well judging by the comments made, I am so glad that I am a nice person as I respond to all mails except "fancy a fuck" even those that obviously haven't read my profile. Don't want to be seen as a nasty arrogant picky person nor build up a bad reputation

as it stands if we name and shame yeah you can understand but if admin do it then they have all the info and can be neutral i.e. the messages sent from the people or person and the only way for it to be fair is if admin do it

as for me im not a fan of been called a skank after telling someone i dont want to meet them and sed person should not be aloud to do it to anyone else

but yet even after reporting them i still see them on the site

so whats fair in that?

Anyone would think single women don't get timewasters and no-shows! And it makes me laugh that apparenetly we can pick and choose every day of the week. So good to know that I have an unlimited supply of tail on here. Now, wonder if I can find it.....

Sassymiss is right, pretty much. When I first joined here I put up a couple of posts about being stood up/losing money on no shows and she posted her advice. I have had a couple of no shows since then but not nearly as many, and not as expensive. Its funny how the timewasters disappear when you insist on a social meet nearby! Oh, and I always have a back up plan. I have a hotel meet next week. If he doesn't turn up I shall take the opportunity to visit a club.

It is frustrating and it feels crap when these things happen, but all you can do is chalk it up to experience and move on! Are these people really worth gettign banned for? I think not.

Name and shame would be as idiotic for Admin to do as anyone else. Apart from the fact it's unpleasant and vindictive, do we expect anyone to read and understand a name and shame list? So everyone would read every name on the N+S list before sending anyone a message? There could be 1000s of names on it? That would be simply bonkers.

Admin read and review all reports, if someone has a pattern of not turning up for meets, is fake, is otherwise not conductive to the community on here, their account is suspended and they can no longer participate on Fab. We disable, part-disable, or warn dozens of accounts each day.
