"Or type it? "
That means replying which both of the above know only opens the door for conversation and possible misuse of time.
Yes OP a no thank you box would be good which then prevented the other person from replying would actually go a long way to helping in the complicated issue for many. Some don't like change or improvement. I really cannot understand the same people being so negative in the suggestions forum.

It also depends how much mail you have, I don't like to not reply but it's tedious to type, copy or whatever a 'no thanks' if there's a lot of it when a simple one touch option would suffice |

This gets said daily.
Apparantky it was once tried and people complained as they were opening their fabs to inboxes of 20 'no thanks' logos/messages (whatever it was)
Bet they still bloody typed 'why not?!' Haha |

The mistake was not to put in a blocking system to be consistent with their no thanks means not interested policy. If they did that people who send loads of messages will soon rethink about who they send to more carefully so as not to get so many no thankyous.
If I get no reply I simply block and that solves any future issues. |

It's easier just to delete messages! 9/10 we have said no thankyou we have received an abusive message back. Not once has it been off a single guy though always SF or couples.

The general thinking on this matter is to have a 'Thanks but no thank you' button which sent a polite message, but the recipient could not reply to.... a one way message which doesn't open up communication which again many are against....maybe it blocks the recipient to reply. |
