Quite frustrating to limit search to within 30 miles as mostly mainland people appear. Then one has to move your location to search just a bit further down the road without getting the mainland. Nothing wrong with the mainland people at all...... its just a long swim for a coffee... Other than most wouldn't be interested for the same reason.
It would be good if BT codes were all put in under Ireland.
Why would I want mainland profiles appearing in local searches? Since all our codes start with BT it wouldn't be that difficult to add them to all ireland. Even dublin at 2 hrs away is easier to get to than say Liverpool or the Manx.
Any thought on this issue welcomed. |

"BT codes would be a great way of searching truly local people."
All our postcodes start with BT.... This would make it easy to then have as a separate search region for NI....or lump in with Ireland. Means I can search for people on this dry land and not get those out of reach with binoculars perving at us lovelies from the mainland. ..

To be fair all searches need a sort out to postcode.
I'm in Gloucestershire, some class it as west midlands, some south west and even south. South Wales (chepstow, newport etc) are a lot closer than some in my desiginated (sp!) |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
"the thing we find annoying is when people put ..lala land, Nowhereatm, etc instead of a town ..it means you have to look at the profile hopefully to find where they live . "
It will give a distance on the mobile site, although we'd all more or less equidistant from Corfu, in practical terms. |
