So, I was wondering how you can leave a webcam verification from snapchat.

Surely that defeats the purpose of a webcam verification

I don't use snapchat but is that not a version off a webcam to see someone in person ?

My kids use it for the stupid dog filters. It's not a webcam. It's a picture/video based service.

You can't interact live.

So, the upshot is, you still can't be certain they are who they say they are.

You can make live video calls on it, so you could verify that way

Most of the veris I've seen involve seeing people's 'stories'. That's NOT making a 2 way video call.

I'm not slagging Snapchat, merely wondering what the point of people leaving veris based on seeing someone's snapchat.

In my opinion, it's pointless.

That being said, if I see them I treat them as fake veris as I don't think it's appropriate.

But it's obviously something admin hasn't considered and I was wondering what the official line was.

You can record yourself... or others for 10 seconds then send it... I wouldn't exactly say that's a live video call.

I'd suggest that if you see a veri like this, you report it to Admin and let them check it.

I have the old version of kik downloaded, but I've seen the new version you can video chat on that now.

The question was answered, if a veri isn't by a webcam or a meet then it isn't a true veri and is against site rules.

If snapchat or KIK don't have the facility of live video then it isn't allowed.

Report any profile that hasn't got a true veri and it will be looked at
