No - has been the stock answer so far - too expensive on resources to implement and would need an army of folks to do checks on content to adhere to relevant laws. And a HUGE membership fee to make it feasible. |

You miss the point.
The laws around pornographic videos are quite stringent, the punishments for infringing those laws are severe.
How many moderators do you think Fab would need to employ to sit and watch the huge number of uploads it would create?
Any idea what the cost would be in staff as it would have to be a full time job.
To say nothing of the bandwidth required to upload.
The sites fine without it. It's not a porn site, it's a swingers site.
If I want to watch porn I'll visit a porn site.

Image mods have to look at all the pics that are uploaded daily to make sure they comply to Fabs rules, OK some slip through the net but on the whole they don't do a half bad job.
They would have to watch 100s of hours of video to make sure they comply to UK porn laws as well as Fab rules.
That they haven't been lifted off of some porn site.....can you google videos like you can images?

Personally I don't think this needs a video feature and I wouldn't want to see one. We all know what it would be full of. However, the above mentality is exactly why Blockbuster went bust. A fixation on status quo and misreading what was happening in the wider world. |

How do you know all this, can you reveal your statistical survey of fab where members have said that the porn gallery is the most important part?
It maybe for you, but you can't project your views as that of the masses.
It's also incorrect to assume that just because something can be done it should be done. If the purpose of this site was to make money then they would charge way more than they do and limit the free aspects far more.
My understanding is it is run to promote swinging and benefit swingers. Hence the lack of adverts and the minimum costs to run the site.
Storage of videos costs money as does the time to check them. If we want to see someone in the flesh there is a chatroom which is a far more reliable facility than a video.
The simple solution though if anyone is so convinced that the site is lacking videos is to create a copy and add their own video functionality. Or join other swinging sites with that function.
We have been on a rival site with that function and it did not add to our experience or increase or meets.
I'm not anti videos but for the purposes that we use the site it would add very little for our experience.
They may add it or they may not, but it seems to meet the user needs without it at the moment. Sometimes keeping it simple and functional is the optimal solution. Ie Google v yahoo |

It could be an added feature for a cost.
But you still have the moderation issue.
People complaining about having to wait days for their video to be authorised.
Then complaining when the video is removed because they forgot to pay the top up fee.
It's not impossible by any stretch is just a matter of if there is the demand. |

Not forgetting your idea that this is repeated every time people want to add three more videos.
It's not practicable when you actually think about it, is it?

Register with xtube or some other porn upload website. Then upload your videos there and put a link on your profile to the video.
You can adjust privacy to allow only those with link to view it.

this claim that other sites have it etc etc...
well the other sites have mainly been shit for a decade or so- most are really just wank fodder with I'd imagine hardly anyone meets from. |

Like the wee Gifs, take a ten second bit of video, convert it into a gif, its now only several hundred kilobyte in file size... I would settle with that though it becomes silent motion, better than nothing... |
