Stopping undesirables even viewing your profile

I have my settings so males or TV TS CD etc can't mail me as it's just not my thing at all, and I find it a bit unnerving to be honest and is one of the main reasons for me leaving last time. I still get views from them though. Is there any way I can hide my profile to certain other categories of Profiles? If not why not? Would seem a good idea. G |

Nothing wrong with looking... PS. I'm straight and I won't be looking at your profile...
You have done it so that you have no mails to read.
Now your only option is to use the block button, search for locals then spread your search..
PS don't forget the straight men either, or the men pretending to be ladies, etc

Uh oh, youre infected with the gay now because men look at you. Quick, You better leave and start running. Does it really bother you that much? Not a big deal, unless you start looking at their profiles. Why would you make a topic concerning this? Sounds like you now want men looking at you. This is just another attention seeking waste of space. To get them to stop you have to block them. After you have blocked them, send them a message to tell them you are blocking them. That should do you good. |

Why not just hide your profile, so no one can actually look at you, it then leaves it to you to make all the effort to message others. Not sure you will get very far doing it, but it is an option

For gods sake man, what's the problem with them looking at your profile? I'm a straight guy and happy to talk to anyone on this site that has manners. This is a lifestyle that needs an open mind and no predujist towards others, talk to others, they are human beings with feelings too. |

I'm not sure that works. My filters are set to "not looking for single men", but that's pretty much the only group I get viewing my profile.

after you block the the filters, go to edit account on account details unclick single men. |

Poor choice in wording but I agree; would be handy if we could block males/females/etc from viewing profiles.
I have no interest in males, so there's no reason I'd want them viewing my profile, viewing my pictures or even fabbing my pictures. My block list made up of males who've repeatedly visited my profile.
Controversial for some (it shouldn't be for some reason it is) however it's my opinion. |

I think it would be much easier for them to just remove the "who's looked at me" function. It's completely pointless. If someone has looked and is interested, they'll message you. If they've looked and haven't messaged or winked, they're not interested. |

I imagine there are plenty of times when you're interacting on a forum where a variety of people will look at your profile. Not always because they might be physically interested. Perhaps just to see who you are when they're interacting with you.

On a similar vein, could anyone tell my wife and I why some people keep their profile hidden? We know it's a personnel choice thing but it seems to defeat the object of having one, unless we're missing something here.

Lots of reasons, but it's useful for taking a break from meeting, but you don't have to delete your profile and then start all over again. |

If I don't want messages or to interact with anyone, or I'm logging off for a few days or going on holiday or something, it makes perfect sense to me to hide it. |

Personally I would prefer if there was an option to block or remove people from the search engines who are clearly incompatible with what you are seeking.
It would save everyone a lot of time. |

The majority of straight guys that look at my profile or that i meet dont mention on their profile they are into tvts. Also some guys on their profile specify they are not into tvs and tss than the same guys are messaging me in private.what do they expect I am gonna say when I read that on their profile ha ?meet them?come on.lmao.
I asked this guy why he would write on his profile "I'm not into tvts,go else where if u are " ,his answer was he uses that as a decoy...wtf i blocked him and moved on lol |

although i think it would be a good thing to be able to block members of the same sex from viewing your profile.... just a thought.. im not racist or sexist by any means whatsoever.. but its what some members want in the lng run, they can always turn it back off if they want, just having the opton would be nice. |
