We've recently started having fun on cam in the chat rooms, both watching and performing. However, quite regularly, we find that the audio feed from another camera we're watching gets "stuck on".
This means that, no matter what we do, the sound from that camera keeps playing. The "sound on/off" button doesn't stop it, neither does closing the camera window, watching another camera or even changing rooms. The only way we've found to stop it is to refresh the whole chat window which results in us being kicked out of the rooms
Any ideas on how to stop this? |

Check that you've got all possible updates especially Flash Player. To make sure Flash is up to date, right click on your own cam and choose About. This will take you to a web page showing you the version you have and the latest version available for your OS and Browser. |

I had the exact same problem. I updated Flash and then my brower, and this did't work. However, when I updated Flash again (i.e. AFTER updating my browser) this cured it.
I've also been told that Google Chrome is the best browser for Fab Chat, although IE8 works fine for me.
Good luck! |
