I know you don't have to look at them, but to save people wasting their time & sitting wondering if they are going to get a response could we have the option to turn them off.

This gets a big thumbs-up from me. Either disable the 'wink' link, or send a bounce-back "this profile does not accept winks", so that the sender knows they haven't made contact.

I just get fed up of seeing people moaning and whining with frustration about the site
Little things like this I thought might just reduce at least some of it.  |

Why would you think that
Receiving them isn't that problem as I ignore them. It's all the people that send them I'm thinking about what's the point if they are ignored. |

I'm a winker  I like them as a way of testing the water if I'm not sure if I'm what the other may be interested in.
Wink back and I message.

Those that wish to receive them will look at them, those that don't won't look at them.
Those that send and the moan about a lack of response will get just as arsey when their messages are deleted and not replied to.
I'd suggest the folk who moan about a lack of response adjust their expectations, expect nothing thn anything is a bonus..  |

Ok fair enough our opinion is we never ever worry about it, we get winked we may or may not look who's winked at us then if there's an attraction we wink back if not we don't , it's all part of the site ! |
