People in more than 1 room

We are finding it difficult to get into directing rooms because of people, usually males who are not silver nor gold members, squatting in all of them. The practice seems to be increasing . Not only do they stop others using the rooms they get multiple cams at no cost and without supporting the site. |

In the next release of chat (within the next few weeks, hopefully), site supporters will be able to enter "full" rooms in view mode.
We've written about this elsewhere
We'll also be stopping folk entering more than one room by sneak.

Until that software is released are you doing anything about those who are repeatedly reported for doing this? I.e. am I wasting my time repeatedly reporting the same person? |

Repeatedly reporting anyone is probably a waste of time, 1 report is sufficient for Admin to look into it.

Although I agree and sympathize with this discussion I do think that there is possibly a need for further rooms
Maybe a room solely for bi and gay men? I personally don't go into the rooms much now and still find I can get good chat and a few ( not enough ) meets lol
Maybe a timer installed automatically in a room is an answer as I have seen lots of which some are ladies doing their housework or just an empty chair on show! Also I think you will agree a 'blocking ' tactic to keep a space in the room
Good job we don't have a German room or the towels would be covering the chair or screen!! |

The software does time you out (after half an hour I think) if you're inactive, so I think that's less of a problem than people being in more than 1 room. We'll get a clearer idea once the software is released. |

I sometimes end up in more than one room by accident - no idea how, but if I have a wander of the rooms I can be in several, when I had no intention of being so and only find out when someone tells me that I'm also in another room and people are talking to me in there (i'm obv not responding to them!) I don't know what I do to stop this. I use google chrome incognito and only new chat. But it's not an intentional thing of mine to be in more room than one - I have enough trouble keeping up with PMs and room chat in one - why would I want to try being in two??!!  |

If someone clicks on your cam when you're in the room, but then you move to a different room, the original roomies will still be able to see your cam. However, your name will no longer appear in the list of chatters for the original room, so no-one new will be able to click your cam from the original room.
I find it quite funny when people try to talk to ladies who have left the room! But maybe try saying "I am leaving this room and going to X room", so that people can follow you and still chat to you (if you want them to!) LOL |

It's not that, though - I am still actually in the list of chatters - I've been told where I am and if I then go there I see that I've been in that room for an hour or so instead of just joining. We've also checked it by looking in that room with hubby's single profile and I'm in the list (although not there and don't have multiple tabs open or anything...) |
