If members put blocks on their profiles, instead of saying problems with profile, why cant it just say the truth e.g. this member has blocked single men or couples or whoever they blocked. and if they have blocked one certain person cant it say THIS MEMBER HAS BLOCKED YOU. surely we can all understand that but maybe others think different ?? |

I think you have a good point kitten, you should be told if you are being blocked by someone as otherwise you could think there was something wrong with the person's profile which suggests there is something wrong technically. What do other people think ?

Definately
It should just tell you that you are blocked, end of story and probably a reduction of the amount of queries sent to the site by people thinking that there's something wrong
I've never understood the 'problem with profile' statement. It just makes no sense. Honesty is always the best policy methinks

As far as I'm aware this is exactly what it does do. If someone states 'not looking for single guys' and I click send message it says 'this user has blocked proiles of your sex'. If I try and message someone who has blocked me it says 'this member has blocked you'.
It even tells you if you have them in your own block list. |

it only tells u if they have blocked all single males, if i blocked just u , it would say the usual problems with profile |

The actual sight of a member seeing the "This user has you blocked" could make them sit back and think "what am I doing wrong" or "maybe I shouldnt of been so pushy" etc.

Having checked this, you appear to be right, but I'm certain it used to do it the way we think it should... |

That has to be better that a message stating that there is a problem with the profile - ? At the end of the day every member has the right to block someone regardless of hurt feelings |

In all honesty, I think you will find that this is going to be due to how the site has been coded. Don't forget, the guys don't do this as a full time job and in order to do what is being asked would probably require some pretty in depth coding changes.
My suggestion around this would be for Admins to simply post an update notice saying that if you see that message it will probably mean you have been blocked.
I know everyone has the right to block people they don't want to be contacted by, and I hope this isn't going too far off topic, but it makes me laugh when I get blocked, because it's not because I pester, so as Puresilk says, I must be an ugly fecker! |

Yeah must be that mate , that or all the other guys that have messaged before you have pestered so they don't bother waiting to find out anymore...

I have started to block all the "single guys" on here that view my cam. i have already set up filtering for no single guys as i'm not interested in poking the brown box or indeed having mine poked
My take on this is the profiles are there for a reason and if the idiots cant or wont read "fuck 'em and block them"
i got 4 blocked yersterday |

Yes, have to agree, the present message could well lead you to think that there was a technical issue, which could then lead to additional and unnecessary work for admin! |
