Is it a good idea that forum threads are automatically archived, still readable but no new contributions accepted after say a 12 week period of no activity.
The purpose of this is to stop 'thread revival' where new contributions are made but realistically the original OP plus original contributors are either no longer on the site or no longer active
If a discussion is still relevant there is nothing to stop someone opening it again as a new topic |
