How many times does a profile have to be reported as fake / timewaster before something is done about their profile? Have reported then blocked as advised on many ocassions_ as have others we know who have also experienced probs with the same profiled person _ yet still we see them on site with same user name etc and still wasting peeps time!!! The amount of timewasters on this site seems to be getting worse! |

There has to be proof. I will paste to this post what Admin say what they do with reports.
******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).
Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.
Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

We look for proof or a pattern of behaviour. Naturally we don't want idiots on the site who are purposefully arranging meets and not turning up. It's just not good for anywone.
We can see you've reported one profile as being a timewaster.
It helps us if you explain the problem in the report, for example you put "Timewaster!" whereas what would have been more helpful for Admin would be a brief explanation of what happened.
The user has never been reported before for timewasting so perhaps you could persuade others who have had bad experiences to also report.
We need to be fair on all parties, if someone (lets say) reported you as a timewaster it wouldn't be fair if we just read that and suspended your account.

We reviewed a club we attended, yes it was an avoid review. The club owners then started emailing abuse and threatened to tell our neighbours about our activities. So we reported them. We also had mail from others that use the club saying that they knew where we live etc etc.
What's happened since then?
Nothing!!?!!
So we have deleted the review. Club reviews are a waste of time if this is allowed to happen!

We are re-reviewing this.
We get tens of thousands of reports each year, some do slip through the net.

not to mentntion it would also be illegal under the data protection laws to reveal what action was taken if any about a third parties account
