I've spoken to a few 'couples' on here that have been photo verified but get the feeling it may not be a couple anymore.
If you had to photo verify yourself once a year then this would sort out that issue. |

If a couple split up then they won't be able to do another photo verification. Therefore they would lose their flag.
It would mean you would have to put a date on the verification also. |

photo verification means feck all. if you think they're dodgy don't contact them. it's not hard... |

God, every time a read the forums on fab it depresses me.
Seems everyone is so quick to be negative and jump on to OP back. Not just the post, but the majority I have seen.
If anyone suggests something they would like, seems people can't wait to inform the OP it won't work or useless or what's the point.
I try to stay away from the forum as much as I can. But like to see the site feedback for improvement. Also our own local forum for parties and social etc. But I always feel the life sucked out of me by the constant negativity on the forums.
Surely I can't be the only one? |

People make impractical/ pointless suggestions all the time.
And there are people who want to be spoon fed.
So they get knocked back, sometimes ridiculed.
A pointless and silly suggestion will get an appropriate response. |

Let me spell it out for you, photo-veries are worthless!!!!
They are too easily faked, and people put way too much faith in them.
I've said it before, but it bears repeating... the only veri worth having from a security point of view is a "play" meet veri.  |

In general yes...However it's not hard for two fakes set up by the same person to 'meet'.... If their bi they can play with themselves easily enough... seriously though...its not hard to do that... There are loads of fakes on here.... go and look at who fabbed photos and you'll see alot ofpprofiles names such as... "dgfrryy" "bi iiig boooooy" " Loooooong john" I could go on and the profile has no veris...no profile...no photo...but they are used to just like photos. There are hundreds of them. |

I don't think that re-verifying once a year would help (you could just send the old pic again?).
BUT this is a good point - on accounts that get changed from single to couple or vice-versa. ***Should the photo-verification be removed in those instances?*** We regularly see people coming on the forum saying that their profile has been changed by admin from one type to another (often because of text in the profile saying different to the account type) |

I agree, a simple question/suggestion (& goes for other threads too) just get the 'move on, what's it to do with u, so what' responses.
As for this thread, I gotten mails from couples profile & after exchanging 2/3 messages it's clear there's no female anymore. I do go by recent verifs so if they've met others as a couple it eases my mind but if I was deciding to actually meet them I'd def want a call & to speak to d female. |

It seriously could be anyone holding up a piece of paper. you dont think that people crafty and underhanded enough to have fake profiles for whatever reason wont have either the technical skills yo fake it or will gave a female friend theyd get to hold thr paper up for them? How will it be checked and verified? against photo Id? |

Easy enough to do, there are enough tools out there to be able to fake just about anything, hell I could probably substitute Kelly Le Brock (ask your dad!) instead of Jayne lol!  |
