Delete messages not working on mobile

Hi. Is it just me or is the delete button now only working sporadically on deleting messages (iOS)?

Been having problems today deleting the hundreds of messages I receive every hour!

I find if Iam deleting a lot of messages then I need to refresh the page for it to happen or they show especially if I back page..... This isn't a new thing it's been like this since I started. Samsung Note user.

Done that. It's just not registering me pressing the trash can button....
