Site Running Slow
Jump to: Newest in thread
For the last two days I have been having problems with the site running really slow and failing to open pages etc. Has anyone else had this problem? |

We're looking at whether there is an intermittent problem with one of our servers. If you know a bit about computers, try starting a command prompt (start in windows, type "cmd") then in that type "tracert www.fabswingers.com") and copy and paste us the results either here or via the contact us form.
Can anyone else with issues do the same?
We did make a change on Friday we'll be making a call tomorrow (Monday) whether to roll back but with 55,000 people logging in each day it's hard to understand whether we do have issues or not (given out of that number a lot will have intermittent connectivity issues anyway!)

Using a mac and what I have noticed is how ever many items are to load on that page it always stops at 31 from 33 or 4 from 5 etc I have found it is with all operations no matter what you click the resonse is very slow. as you watch the progress bar (on a mac) it slows to a halt when it is doing the first section of the operation as soon as it has a response from the site whoosh
eg www.fabsingwrs,com/inbox (I know thats not right but the fabswingers bit highlights then it stops (using Safari on a mac) Not very techincal I know |

Ours has been slowish (having said that, our connection is piss poor at the moment) but apart from that there have been 2 or 3 times tonight when the site had been 'not available' whilst other stuff has still been working |
