Ive blocked 2 people today and ive just received friend invites from both how is that possible

I believe that the logic is that you may well have blocked them accidentally, given that they WERE on your Friends List!

It's a glitch caused by the block. Blocking effectively leaves an open-ended friendship from the other side - which shows up as a request.

It's almost like Friendships are a 2-way thing, A=B and A=B, when one bit gets cancelled by the block, the other one hangs open.
