When you view someone's profile and at the side it says "You mailed them xxx weeks ago" and "They mailed you xxx weeks ago". Would it not be possible to make them links to the conversation - assuming that is, you haven't deleted their messages.

I think this would be a very useful function indeed.. occasionally you can look at a profile that perhaps has been updated or suchlike, and you know that you've had some kind of communication but can't remember exactly how things may have been left. It can be a real pain trawling back through pages of messages to find your last contact!
I know, I should probably be more ruthless with the Delete button - but that can cause even more problems  Anyway, one more vote for this suggestion here.. |

We recently reviewed a profile where it stated they mailed us / we mailed them 2 YEARS ago  haven’t got a clue what we / they said at the time  |

Looked on a profile this morning and it states “they mailed you / you mailed them” 1 year ago
We only block those who are not compatible; however, it’s impossible to remember what was said 1 year ago.
Admin, is it possible to lose the “you / they emailed 1 year ago”
Seems a pointless reminder if it doesn’t clarify what was said at the time.

we often see the same and if we haven't already deleted the messages we just assume either they or us weren't compatible else we'd have stayed in contact ..
guess with the amount of messages sent across the site each day admin can't store them all , well not without everyone paying a monthly subscription |

you don't need a big effort.. just CTRL+F on Sent and Read pages typing their username in the search bar.. doesn't take long to do |

Your post doesn't answer my question!
I stated we block if we’re not compatible, those we are compatible with, short of stalking / pestering them for a meet, we leave, we have no reason to stay in contact just because someone’s shown an interest in us. |

Maybe your inbox shows more than ours, but we can only see the most recent 75 (or so) messages. We can't see any messages from more than couple of weeks ago, so Ctrl-F doesn't work for us. |

saw a post by admin recently encouraging use of the Saved Messages area (have to be honest we hardly use that either) but otherwise go for a delete session of unwanted mail |
