The Fab rules for posting links to other sites is as below

Links to other sites

We have restrictions on where you can link to because otherwise people end up posting spam or links to places that host malware/spyware and it's bad for our users.

You can link to:

Any well recognised news site (bbc, times, telegraph, sun, notw, cnn and all the rest)

Youtube

Lovehoney

Wikipedia

In the past official government news and information sites have been allowed under these rules (I've previously posted links to the NHS site, HMRC site and others - yes not all threads on here are always about sex). However recently there seems to have been a change to the way this rule is being interpreted by some moderators and they are giving out bans and timeouts to people for posting links to sites such as Parliament(Dot)Uk.

Why is fab banning people from putting links through to these perfectly legitimate news and information sites?

O o O oo

The rules are simple....no exact locations, ie a fish and chip shop address that may not want to be on a swinging site and links to newspapers or websites that are in the allowed list.

Another rule is not to dispute any ban you have had on the forum or you could end up banned again. Use the contact button for your feedback
