"Is there anyway of knowing if someone has fanned your meet request? Thanks
Good question. I've wondered that myself. Sorry I can't provide an answer. Hope someone knows!"
We can't seem to find anywhere that shows it, hopefully someone can help. |

"Its a complete pointless thing to do, so I wouldn't expect many if any to have done it"
It is pointless if there is no way of knowing if the meet had been fanned. But if there is a way of knowing we would find it helpful to see who has been interested. |

"you can't find out.
the site owners are the only ones who can see and they did it for that reason."
Thanks, no sure we understand the reason though - seems daft to have a function with no use to members? |

"you're welcome. went one better and found the site owners topic explaining about fabbing meets:

Thanks for the info guys. Definitely won't waste my time fabbing a meet again! I hope the admins either take the supposed functionality away or get it to work sometime soon.
I wonder how many people on this site fab meets without knowing it doesn't tell the meet posters? |

If there's no "payback", either for the person posting the meet, or for the searcher seeing how many ppl had fabbed the meet etc. then people are less likely to participate in Fabbing them in the first place. What's the point if the Fab goes nowhere?
If Admin want to collect data, we need to also have a benefit from clicking the Fab button (even if it's just a "total of Fabs", like on a photo). Otherwise (once we learn that nothing happens), we won't click it, and Admin get no data. |

Couldn't agree more. Especially as it seems to have been like that for months. |
