Would anyone agree that there should be an auto reply button? As couples and single women get so many messages I think a button that we were able to edit to say "thanks for the message" for instance would be a good introduction. It might also cut down on the amount of people bitching about messages not being replied to.

Thoughts please?

No.. But the part on the site that says... no reply is to be taken as a polite no thankyou.. Should be in big bold letters on the home page

I agree but the moaners and whingers don't appear to understand that part of the rules.

Forum Mod

My Own Little World

I would use one if I could write my stock polite refusal which automatically gets sent, just saves me C&P.

You would then just get the same people complaining that all they get is a 'thanks for the reply' message, and how rude of people to just press a button!

But you might get people who think "thanks for the message" is sign of interest, then really whinge and moan when no reply to their second message saying you were leading then on......just a thought

I think if someone can't follow instructions or rules that should be part of your filtering process. Imagine if you tell a potential meet some of your personal rules or boundaries and they don't understand for some reason. Let's see if people can get the simple things right before they screw up on the big things...

Sorry. That's a no for auto-reply and yes for just simply ignoring.

I agree. And add that people on here are not unpaid prostitutes dying for a fuck with anything with a cock.

I'm not that fussed about replying to guys on here to reject them OP, so what if they whinge coz it just means they aren't very well socilaised to me if they expect every single person to want to interact with them.

I believe they tried one, people complained it was too impersonal...can't win either way.

Replying also means that if you apply filters in future, they can get round them because you've messaged them...

There should be a button, thats sends back a message

"We're not interested as you cant read a profile."

and it then deletes their message and blocks them.

Lots would like that!!!

There has never been a trial of this sort.

Not on fab, but apparently on another site the owners ran/run, according to an admin post a while back.
