hiya,
I just suffered homophobic abuse in a message (and then was blocked) - I have reported it to the admin and also asked for details as I would like to take it further.
Will the admin do that? and also do they take that find of offence seriously? |

Yes they will but you won't get a reply as to what they've done with the profile |

surely if they take it seriously it should be deleted? you either take something that is illegal seriously or dont? |

They may well decide to block the profile and remove it from the site they just wouldn't tell you that. If you feel that strongly maybe consider reporting it to the police |

I will paste onto the next post what Admin do with reports.
If you want to take it further, ie with the police then the police can get in touch with Admin from the contact button.  |

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.
******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).
Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.
Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:
