Done a little research on here. Lots of accounts seem to spring up each week (especially for women) with the text :
"am a xx year old straight woman and I'm looking to meet men."
I never get a reply from these accounts when you message them (I know it could just be me!) and then these accounts seem to be deleted after a few days.
The cynic in me thinks these are randomly generated to give the impression that more women join then actually do to keep the male majority happy/interested.
Is this just me or do others think the same! Maybe it's just coincidence or there's a reason behind it!
p.s. sorry if this has been brought up before in a previous post but I'm just curious! |

With new women's accounts like that it could be a number of things, too many messages straight away they get scared off, I know when I joined I received over 200 messages in 2 days, and I wasn't even looking for men! Then I worked out the filters lol.
There are also profiles which are actually men rather than women, they look, perve and delete.
It wouldn't do anyone, including admin, any good to produce fake automated profiles as it would only give the site a bad wrap and if they did, why would they delete them? |

I think it is very unlikely to be site generated accounts.
But as a single fem I remember what it was like when I 1st opened this account, had I not been on here for a year with my couples account I may well have closed up shop and bolted. Men pouncing on the newbie.
Alternatively it could be a dodgy acc set up by a bloke who likes looking at the 100s of cock pics he will be sent as a 'new woman'  |

The text you quote is what the site fills in automatically for everyone before they write an actual profile themselves.
In my opinion it is most likely women joining then becoming overwhelmed by the amount of messages they receive before they have even added any pics or text.
It can be overwhelming at first before you learn to manage filters, and the fact so many will message blank profiles can appear desperate so you can become disillusioned very quickly thinking all men on here are the same.
Don't know what Admin would gain from creating blank profiles.... |

When I first joined (after being recommended by a friend) I got over 200 messages in the first few hours completely overwhelmed me and scared me off I deleted my account after 8 hours. Told my friend for her to reply "my bad I probably should have told you about setting message filters" I rejoined after that set my filters straight away and it's been happy gabbing ever since, so I also doubt it's admin |

Exactly the same story for a freind of mine; she deleted her account after about 15 minutes as it was just insane . When she started again, the first thing she did was hide her profile, even so, in 5 minutes she got about 50 messages.
And that wording is automatic when you sign on, before you write a profile.
There is a certain other site that regularly sets up fake profiles; complete with pictures, the " profiles" even send you messages! |

As a free site what benefit is it for admin to do this? If anything is imagine admin wanna lose some single guys to get numbers more manageable, and better proportioned |

This would explain a lot!
I have never thought the site was creating users, but I was always dubious of new profiles where the profile user put that. I had assumed it was a a fake profile (in the sense of being a catfish or something similar) |
