"How can we stop them "
Ask them not to start threads?
So basically, you're saying you enjoyed chatting to someone and they responded but after you chatted for a while and wanted to meet them they decided not to after all? Where is the timewasting in that? Surely you need to chat to someone for a while before you can make an informed decision on whether or not you want to have sex with them? It depends on what you said, how you said it, if you were pushy or crude.....a multitude of impossible to know reasons. Don't sweat it. |

its usually because you either say something they don't like or ask to do something they have told you they aren't interested in.
Some guys are really nice but once a "meet" is mentioned they turn in to lecherous perverts asking you to do this that and the other. For me that's when I hit the delete button.
The main reason for the block is when they give you the old ... I'm allergic to latex line!!
Anyway these are a couple of reasons why I personally do it.
I'm not a time waster as you can read from my veries but sometimes it has to be done. |

A no-show for an arranged meet is proper timewasting.
The rest is just time spent, not wasted.
The fact that it does not lead to anything is part of Fab life, and you just have to deal with it and move on. |

I enjoy chatting to all sorts of people doesn't mean I'm going to drop my knickers for everyone.
Sometimes after a few messages it's clear that person isn't for you. Surely that's not time wasting.
Too many guys throw about the "time wasting" tag because they dont get a meet after about 2 messages. |

That's not really a time waster op, can't see where your time has been wasted as you'd probably be on here chatting to others anyway. I never chat much on here, its simply a point of first contact for me. I arrange a meet in my local costa where I'd be on my break anyway so if they do no show then its not a problem. |

Don't even have to get lecherous for me. Just constantly going on about nothing but 'the meet' does my head in. And how good it will be, blah blah blah, omg stfu already...this is why i never plan meets in advance either.
OP if people stop chatting, ask them why (you're entitled to ask but they might not be comfortable telling you why they stopped), and also check the day of the meet that they are turning up. That's mostly what you can do really. |
