I am new to the site, and so a veri was left for me yesterday, for a meet that happened in December.
Because the date of the veri was yesterday, a guy I had been chatting to got upset because they thought I had met the person then. (I had said I couldn't meet anyone at the weekend).
After telling me I am 'full of sh*t' the guy has now blocked me, which is quite frankly his loss... But I guess this must happen to others too?!
Could there be an option to add the date of the actual meet/cam? |

Ive had guys be like this in the past they think you are theyre property least you found out what he was like before meeting him... just ask the person leaving the veri to put a date on it |

You Dont Need to Know, right now |
Very silly childish behaviour from the guy you were chatting with. Does he really think that all verifications are done the day of/day after the meet? I have verified people after open socials, sometimes several days after the social. If he is so silly and childish, you have lost nothing. |

This would be a good idea but yes to add the date in the veri when writing it as has been suggested, would be helpful too, to avoid this kind of thing |

Even with a couple of message exchanges some guys think that we're their property and,get a strop re, delayed or,non return of messages.
Good job you didn't meet him.

It happens with women too...especially if you actually meet them....I found the problem worse with younger women to be fair.....so I stopped meeting any under 25. |

"I've had the same problem too, and I haven't been on here that long.
You're a person, not a possession."
Exactly that!! It wouldn't be so bad if there had been weeks of chatting, or even a meet. But it was literally a couple of days of chat and a FaceTime call.

"Lucky escape I think :
Guy was obviously thinking he had some sort of entitlement to "own" you."
I agree with this OP, what date a veri is left or relates to is your business and no one else's. If anything, giving the date of the meet I perceive could do more harm than good as its giving ammunition to those that could inadvertently take issue.
Leave things as is, if anyone doesn't like it then they know where to go. |
