Would it be a good idea to have sticky threads, maybe ones that are informative to stay at the top of the forum page.

Things like advice for newbies, single guys, what to expect at your first gum clinic visit those sort of things

Some sites I've seen that have sticky threads have so many that the whole first page is full of them
