I'm thinking its a little weird that once someone has a phone/webcam verification (and hidden it) they can then claim/give "But I'm verified, why won't you meet me?" ie Meet Verification.
So if it makes sense:
1) Webcam Verification can only give webcam verification in return
2) Phone verification can only give phone verification in return
3) Meet verification can do all 3. 
Or colour code them. The way I see it, I don't see why (potentially) a tease/talker (Looks good on cam, but no intention to meet) should have a green tick, hide it, then claim the "Ofcourse am genuine, am verified!" and proceed to potentialy be a timewaster even though I've verified her (works for all, just using "her" as an example).
But with a colour code, even if the verification is hidden, someone with say a "purple" tick will suggest to people "But you only have a webcam verification - if you had met/received a meet verification, it would be green".
Does that make sense, or am I rambling? |

It makes perfect sense to me, Ahabs. although I don't know if it's possible for the site to do the colour-coding you suggest.
Personally, I would never verify anyone by phone/cam, for the very reason you mention - that they can claim to be verified but hide the fact that it is phone/cam verification only.
And yes, I know that I have hidden my verifications, so for all you know, I could be one of the 'tease/talkers' you mention LOL A colour-coded 'verified genuiune' would demonstrate that I do meet, whilst enabling me to maintain my privacy about WHO I have met.
Let's hope that the site owners can put this on their 'to do' list. |

I really like that too. I used to hide mine but put some on for a couple of reasons - one of which being that I realised some people are suspicious of hidden verifications. So would be nice to have that balance of knowing someone has met but not having to show who and when etc if you feel that's no one else's business! |

i'm not fortunate enough to have been verified yet, but nevertheless i think this is a simple but effective suggestion that will help everyone filter some of the flotsam.

If you do the advanced browse, you can tick 'verified by at least one meet' so you can catch out the people that are just webcam or phone...or just search for people who have been verified by meet. Hope this helps. |

Taking this idea to it's logical conclusion it seems to suggest that simply as someone was verified by meeting that it makes them meetable to you.
What happened to exercising your own thoughts , instincts and experiences ?
Who says the person doing the verifying comes anywhere NEAR your own standards?
Why don't we have a rate the verifier button so we can all moan how shit their choices are when they've made them for us and we didn't like the meet ?
Do your own searching!

Absolutely, DIY is the name of the game - however it helps reduce those that think they're meetable just cause they've been on cam/have a phone.
Why search through 1000 when you can search through 100 ? |
