I really feel there needs to be a change to how Fab verifies people by photo.
This comes following me talking to someone, exchanging some photos, swapping numbers and about to arrange a meet I asked for some more pics.... and I was horrified when he sent me a photo of what I believe to be the true him, with sunglasses on, but definitely not the person in the photos on his fab profile.
I since reported him to admin (made easier by his admission he was using fake photos) and he has since been banned....
I then noticed lots of profiles that are new and "photo verified" but don't have any private nor public photos of their face. I then read through the verification process for photos and noticed it doesn't have to include a face pic...
Whats to stop someone getting verified without a face pic (ie just a cock pic or body pic) and then later adding a fake face pic?
I think any "verified" profile should have to include a face pic to be verified.... it doesn't have to be a public picture but at least one in the private pictures... |

sorry I forgot to add... regarding the "lots of new profiles that are photo verified".... these are profiles with pictures I have been sent 100s of times over by different people claiming it to be them..... |

But the photo verification process is only to demonstrate someone is the sex they say they are. If it had to be done by face I think far fewer people would do it. I certainly wouldn't. |

As recently joined members, we thought we needed to provide full face photos, and that's what we did. The verification photo isn't available to anyone who looks at your profile, so I don't really understand the problem? |

Some people don't want to upload face pics at all. They don't like to have their faces associated with the fabswingers username on the watermark even if kept private. Scared that they might get taken if the site was to be hacked, like others have. |

Why would I want to stand naked, holding a piece of A4?
Why would I want to take a headshot holding a piece of A4?
Why oh why do people have to conform, I know who I am and that I'm real, proving it to thousands of random users, ermmm I don't think so. I don't walk around naked with paper pinned to me? 
If someone doubts me, that's their issue anbd if you're not wise enough to safely meet or indeed meet wisely then that's your own doing. it's an adult site for adults. BE AN ADULT........ |

I am photo verified, body shot only but do have face pics to send out. I also have a couple profile with face pics to send, we are going to photo verify ourselves in a couple of weeks and also hoping to get cam verified too |

People have many reasons for not wanting to upload a photo of their face next to a fabswingers sign onto the net. Children, work, family, friends, etc. All are entitled to privacy. (Even cheating married scum ) Otherwise presumably all of your photos wouldn't stop at the neck. Unless, of course, that's not privacy related at all and is just because you think your face would put people off. |

If my memory serves me correctly, if someone has a picture set as private, their profile still shows no pictures but I don't know if it makes a difference if you are friends with them |

We've had issues recently with new profiles popping up using the same photos of 18+ teens taken from adult sites (thanks, google image search). Each time these profiles popped up, they were verified by the site as genuine.
Reported to admin each time and they disappear the same day, only to reappear the next day. |

Think it always safe to assume everyone you chat to is fake until something proves you wrong, pictures are not evidence of authenticity unless there is something that links the pic to the username.
A decent set of veris, from people who are verified by other people is a good indicator but even that doesn't guarantee the pics you see are of the person messaging you. Only way to be sure is to chat on cam or meet. Until then, caution is a must. We have been caught out a few times and we have learned this the hard way since joining fab. |

There are 3 types of gallery.
"Gallery" = open to all
"Private Gallery" = friends only
3rd not-named gallery = can't be seen by anyone, but can be sent in a message.
Pictures in "Gallery" all show on the profile, pictures in "private gallery" shows just as a count on the profile (e.g. private gallery (8)).
3rd not-named gallery doesn't appear in any way on the profile, not even as a count. |
