Verifications I think it would be better if you could only verify the person once and shouldn't be able to hard verifications that way if you have a bad time with this person you would be able to leave negative feedback warning people |

Even if people were forced to display veris, blocking the profile removes veris and people would simply ask not to be verified or just start a new profile.
One man's junk is another man's treasure. Veris arnt a feedback score, just an indication of being real and meeting
Can you imagine women decline males and get 20 negative veris without having ever arranged or agreed a meet  |

Some veris I have received the writer (unintentionally) has included information I prefer not to share on the Internet like details of my real name and home location. If I had to show this I would delete my account rather than do so.
I also choose not to show the sexually explicit veris.
If you had to show veris then it could be used as a manipulation tool by, well, tools! |

Never looked at a veri nor would I post them.. Don't feel like posting my bed notches anymore than I want to count yours.. Except hers over there,look who she's been with,eewwh that's disgusting  |

No, I have the right to show what I want on my profile so accept they have the right also.
Some people like privacy and don't show new veries until much later or at least until the 3 days after they are on site.

They don't have to be Sexual, it's a site tool to show they are what they claim to be and often just say that they turned up. Ie im a female, am using my own pictures  |

. Verifications are a bit meaningless anyway and they all tend to say the same thing. . I read everything on a members profile except the verifications . Why would anyone choose to list when they have meet ?. What about discretion .
Surely members should have sufficient judgement to rely on the content of a profile in order to make their assessment. |

Not really, because the verification system allows you to track across other veris.
If someone has a single veri from a person with two veris, one of which is the person in question and the other is a webcam veri, well, you might be suspicious.
On the other hand, if someone has several veris from people who are themselves similarly verified, then it's less likely they are fake.
We find them to be an extremely useful tool for helping to work out who is genuine or not. It's not the only tool - common sense is more useful than anything else. But to describe them as 'a farce' is a bit silly. |

I always tell people not to leave veris.
Hate them, they feel tacky and I have never liked being subject to approval by others. I prefer to walk my own path.
A simple tick in a box to say the individual exists would do.
Anther is no need for anything else, it's just a waste of your time, telling people how someone wasted your time??

Verifications are far from meaningless to lots of people , for various reasons .
It's fine for you to have your opinion , but your reasoning is yours and yours alone .
To suggest the whole thing is a farce is simply arrogant .

Well, good for you I guess.
However, personally speaking that you find them disgusting is an irrelevance to us, as is what newbies have told you. They serve us well.
One would assume though, as you seem to be so successful despite having refused all the verifications that people want to give you, you've been able to help all these newbies who come to you for advice by showing them how to get meets without veris. So everybody wins! |

I have explained to a few people how to bypass the idiots, yes.
It mainly comes down to what people want.
If it's just lots of shagging of dubious quality, then they probably need to somehow get veris,
If they want quality, and interesting and intelligent people, then they behave that way themselves , and will attract the people they are looking for . |

Tell her not to reply to these people, just report and block them. I've personally never had anyone ask me for one unless we've met.
As for OP, you're better off chatting to people than taking notice of veris. You just get a better idea of what they actually want and if you're compatible.
I've met a couple of guys with great veris, neither was an enjoyable experience for me. They weren't what i was looking for but obviously what plenty of other people were looking for. |

Except they actually are about performance: because people make them so:
A long time ago, when I was stupid, and gave and received validations, I gave someone a validation that said:
" yes, she is real, she is a woman, and she turned up"
There was hell to pay because I had not explained that she was the best fuck on the planet etc;
So despite the fact that " they are only to confirm the person is real" that is not so: everyone expects a fabulous review of thief performance .
And since no one actually tells the truth: " this was an average/OK / boring Fuck, then it is all bollocks

A nice verification where its stated the person is real turns up etc is fine.. ibwas given a verification on an old profile that was so vile it made me feel sick that id met him.. that verification was never shown and he was soon deleted and blocked after he kept up his vulgar language in messages |

Verfication I fine interesting as you never read if that person was courteous or a gent to the lady or couple that night just what they got up to. I myself was up to 22 with not ever having intercouse so I must be that _ true gent on here .and not a bad word said about me I did lose 7 verification as I teased that indivdual about a kiss witch to me is a peck on the lips as a good night kiss .maybe she had other thoughts

I quite agree.
I display verifications without any extreme clinical detail that mostly attest to my character with tasteful commentary on the meets themselves so that readers can discern consistent traits which may appeal to them but certainly inform them what kind of person I am.
Verifications needn't and often do not read like a porn film screenplay

Because when I've asked admin to remove a veri in the last that was given falsely, they removed it but my summary still said it was there. So if it had been my only one I would have kept the green tick. |

When Verifying another user the site states:
"Please only verify profiles as genuine when you have met in person or seen on cam. You also need to provide a comment giving more information on your verification.
Fake profiles spoil FabSwingers.com for everyone. If you verify a fake profile you will be banned."
Nowhere on this does it require the users to make them a rating of their sexual prowess & the aim is to prove you've met them (so that could be socially) or seen them on cam, & moreso to prove they're not fake profiles.
I very rarely show Veris of a sexual nature as my preference is to show I've met the user, not give a blow by blow account of anything that happened between the sheets.
Lately I don't want or provide Cam Veris as there are many hotties who like to get their jollies by Camming but I find this can make them lazy or reluctant to Meet. I personally find Cam Veris are more & more prevalent amongst the "cannot accommodate" users who might be attached & playing without consent or folk who are miles apart & unlikely to have Met in real life. Now that's fine, but if you're looking for Meets its not going to help you secure a Meet.
My own personal preference is to look for Meet Veris, folk who have attended Group Socials or 121 Social Meets as they tend to be more genuine & prove that they make time for genuine swinging with the full knowledge of partners, indicates how far they're prepared to travel, & how recently they've arranged to Meet.
Whilst Cam Veris are fine to get folk started & prove your face is the same on your profile (so not using fake pics) or in a mail, they're not in the same league as Meet Veris (think of it as a silver medal compared to a Gold).
The site used to offer Phone Veris but this option is no longer available.
So the point of Veris & how you see them is imho a matter of proving you're real, arrange to Meet when you say, Meet other users (socially or sexually) & the choice of the user to display or not. If you choose not to display the actual Veri you can display a Summary or not too.
The idea of users not having control of the information on their profile (Veris or anything else) would simply diminish the site & could lead to false information being applied to profiles which could be entirely untrue, or posted out of vindictiveness. The way it stands the onus is on the user to prove they're genuine users. Fake profiles do get ed out & users learn how to spot them & report them to Admin.
So I'm sticking with the way Fabswingers currently operate their way of doing things as the system works... If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

1. I think it's very unpleasant
2. Because some " newbies " tell me they can't get anywhere at all; because:
1 they can't get verified without meeting someone .
2.They can't get meetings because they aren't verified.
I never look at verifications : I look at what the person says: and decide from our chats whether they are genuine or not.
I will never verify anyone: I refuse to be verified; and will have them removed if someone insists on verifying me, I will have it removed .
And if someone says they won't meet me without verifications; then I couldn't care less: their loss, not mine .

I would love a verification and have camed many times with people but once it's over not so much as a oh that was nice can I see you again.
It can be a little rude on here sometimes but I still love it. |

I've been accused of not showing all my verifications as my verification summary is different to the verifications on show. Why is it that if people leave the site you lose the verification they left for you but the tally doesn't change on the verification summary ? ?......
Personally I feel that the verification summary should change at the same time.

There's no rule to say you must show every veri nor show the summary, both are opt in.
Anyone demanding to see all my veris or summary would see neither |

I'm finding it impossible to get
Verified even though I've met a few guys they just say ohh yeah ill do it then don't its so annoying and then the have the cheek to ask me to do it! |

Strange thing verifications. Seldom do I go into any great details on mine, normally; I met this person/couple, I enjoyed their company, I would meet them again.
This confirms:
1. Person/couple is real
2. We "clicked" mentally/physically
3. I think this person/couple are great and would meet them again.
When other people read those verifications, it may help them select people to meet, or, if they don't like my profile/me; ignore.
Verifications which go into great depth about prowess or activities can be imagination stealers...
The above is MY opinion, please have pinch of salt to hand when reading x

Ye I agree and also something like a negative verification too, maybe one that stays on there profile for a week, so when they arrange meet and don't show or block you when you got to the address they gave you, should be able to do a site vari to say that happened so others are aware that person maybe not so genuine. |

That is just so open to abuse it wouldn't work.
Anyone could just make up a nasty remark or report about someone else never having met.. |
