I've been on here a few weeks now and have about 2 no shows a week or they get cold feet at the last minute.
Just thinking if this happens it would be good to mark the person down. The best way would be to have a percentage rating, so the more you meet it can go in +% or no meet -%.
The easiest way would be to email each party/person with a code word which they would give to the other party/person. This would allow them to write a recommendation (if they wanted too) and they would also put into the rating system.
So if they didn't show a -% would be given, a +% if they did.
Everyone would start on 0%.
The % would be displayed next to there profile name.
Any thoughts on this idea? |

You have an option already, if the person does not show up, go on to their profile and REPORT - there is a list of reasons why you are reporting, one of those is arranged to meet but didn't show.
Of course you can't use that if you arranged a meet off the site. |

"Life happens, though, surely?"
Agreed.. and people should not be put under pressure to meet because some guy is horny. People change their minds and are entitled to do so. Unless your left sitting in a hotel or out of pocket then mark it down to experience and move on. Besides any marking system will put people off, and will most certainly be abused! Get on with your life. Best way. |

You can already report people who do not show up for meets. But then again don't misuse it as it can backfire; if the person or persons can show that they informed then (shrugs) nothing will happen... Admin has sorted this out a long time ago... |

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum |
"I don't really want to grass anyone one up, I just thought this would be a better way.
Those who show for a meet end up with +100%, then will get more meets. "
If you don't 'grass up' no shows, you're letting them get away with it, whereas your system is very open to abuse by people who have an axe to grind with other members. |

Any thoughts on this idea?" . Why would anyone be worried about no shows ? Each member is expected to have their own screening process to prevent this happening. Instinct , common sense and judgement should be sufficient to prevent no shows . In addition maybe avoid any profile that is less than fifteen lines . |

We arranged to meet a friend at a party last night but, due to last minute family issues, he did not show. We did not see the message until this morning, but we have all been there, so no worries at all. Family is more important than any of this .... plus for some newbies, maybe they are allowed nerves too? I have never had a no show (I mean without any message), but my partner has when he was a single male. I do think some couples think they can drop them and they have no recourse. He does not accept anyone treating him like that anymore ... |

Couples biggest offender here I've found.....no reason given just no show or 'lame' excuse the next day....hense I know longer entertain the idea of meeting couples...not even one part of the couple now....only singles now and that's also happened unfortunately. It's just the name of the game more n more on here now. Just block them and move on. Simple. |

Everyone has the right to withdraw consent any given time whether it's a meet or more, even if your both rolling around naked that right is still there, be polite and respectful whether someone shows or not rejects you or not and you'll go far. |
