"This is quite a specific set of circumstances as you've met before. I can see what you're saying with the "attending" button and five strikes would rule out the people who genuinely have a run of bad luck. The only thing I can see against this is that it's very easy to just set up a new profile, otherwise of all the ideas I've seen for making people think twice before mucking about this is the best "We avoid new profiles. I know it's harsh for genuine newbies. But the amount of messages we get from new guys asking to meet and then before we get to reply account deleted lol. 5 strikes meaning. Same way you get veri for showing up. " People could click "no show" even if they did show up. How would Fab know? | |||

"We recently had planned a meet 1week in advance with someone on here. Giving him his second chance as didn't show last time. Some excuse days later about his daughter randomly came to visit. I have met people who aren't photo verified and have still shown up. I have organised meets with photo verified people who haven't. It doesn't make any difference | |||

Frustrating!" hey its life on here the guy kept you informed all the way, maybe the traffic was so bad his car overheated and the AA had to be called he then had to wait for them to attend and the battery ran out on his phone and the resulting delay and fact he had no car or way to contact you resulted in the no show ,sex is a luxury commodity so if something more important turns up or nerves kick in people don't think twice about letting you down xx fab can't do a thing about it and the system could be abused eg someone disgruntled about a meet/cancelled meet could use a reporting system to get back at them   hugs  | |||

I wanted to say that photo-verification will help for sure "Don't agree. My friend met someone off another site who was apparently photo verified they exchanged emails, texts, pictures. The guy that showed up looked nothing like his pictures he had been sending and that was a site you had to pay to join. So photo verification doesn't prove anything | |||

The whole system is already abused anyway. But we had a very similar thing ourselves just this week and twice he messed us about.
No way is there a 5 strikes and out rule as we've since seem from other people he has done this to them and they've reported him.
This whole site is set up in a way that actively encourages time wasters and discourages a lot of real people. "yes but who defines what real is ,for me real is the people that actually meet and enter into the spirit of being sociable wether it's in the sexual context or not ,the messaging is all BS until you meet hugs | |||
