Joking apart, its time we had a few more, there are loads on the BGAFD site, they can't be hard to implement.
Also, it would help if they could be put anywhere in the text after it has been written instead of just at the very end.

"Yep, just hit the smiley and then place the cursor after it to carry on typing. Simples. just like that "
Alternatively...
Type in a really long and detailed response to a particular thread, get all the way to the end, realise you missed a really important smiley out half way through... Nip back and pop one in the right place... Like that..

Li;-)ke that?"
Yes but try doing it after you've written the letter.
Without having to juggle the words, the same way as you can insert and remove letters. |

If you try to insert the icon after you've typed the message, it always goes in after the last character, however if you highlight then cut the icon, you can then paste it into a location of your choice - it's a bit of a slavver, but it works.
I've often wondered why it happens ... but never bothered to ask |

Nope.....after we've written a letter, no matter where we place the cursor, when we add a smiley it always appears at the end.
Don't have that trouble on other non swinging sites, we can just drop them in wherever, as and when. R |
