oriental ethnicity option

I reckon there should be an option for orientals in order to differentiate from others in the continent as the term seems to be synonomous with asians of chinese/japanese/korean/eastasian variety

Dating site?? Ppl use normal date site as sex site so why cant ppl use this as dating site. Not everyone is a couple, cheating or has a bf/gf. My hobby is swinging...would love to find a relationship who enjoys it as much as I do

Oriental is mostly used for objects and things. I know if you called any of my US Asian acquaintances oriental, you'd get a slap.

It's not that prevalent here yet, but is moving over.

Yeah.... I'd be uncomfortable with being described as Oriental, because it has a history of being used in objectifying and fetishizing ways, esp towards women.

I'm happy to describe myself as Asian. Cos that's the continent my ethnicity is from.

I suggested ORIENTAL or EAST ASIAN option to the admins couple years ago but nothing happened...

I still think its a good idea to have the ORIENTAL or EAST ASIAN option

"Oriental" isn't an ethnical term....

Most Asians from China/Korea/Japan would never use it!
