Restrict only one picture per person to be shown

I have a suggestion that you restrict only one picture per profile , per day .
This will remove a situation where one person uploads 30 pictures in one day and they all swamp the pictures section.
NB:I can help you figure out how to do it , I am a programmer and it won't take me a day to do it, you can message me and arrange and I will do it for free if you want |

One of the perks of site supporter is the ability to upload more pics than non supporters. If the owners limited all members to just one pic a day many people would cancel their support of the site. Without the contributions from site supporter subscription how are the costs related to the site meant to be met? |

I am talking about balancing the ability to upload pictures vs everything else. I am just saying , you can upload as many as you like but when it comes to visibility to every user, it just needs to be limited to one picture per day , If someone fancies that picture , they can click on your profile and see more on there.
The other option is to increase the number of pictures users can see , at the moment they are about 21 pages (on a PC) , the trouble is if someone uploades a lot , they will swamp those 21 pages . If the limit is removed or say increased to 200 pages or the filter is put on a day instead of 21 pages , maybe that's better for everyone . |

OP, if you're offering to reprogram the site, can we have
page 2 of messages visible,
better forum software,
message folders,
meets that are ordered by proximity
as well as whatever it was that you wanted? 
By the way, hot pics does work in the way you want, would that be a suitable alternative for you looking at random pics? |

At 20 pics per page, that's 400 pics per day. Surely you'll get at least 100 people to look at a day, as very few are posting THAT many pics? |

I believe site supporters can see more new photos... After the first hundred or whatever it is. Why not become a site supporter then fab can employ more admin and can be sat, poised at the keyboard for anyone's ideas.. Whether they're interested or not. Many people enjoy being able to add more photos and quite happily pay for the privilege to do so, don't you think admin may have already thought the idea through and rejected it many moons ago  |

I think if we are going to have restrictions it should be on the ratio of men to women, so in order to bring it down to 50-1 we only allow good looking men with nice thighs who contribute to silver/gold membership and that all good looking guys like myself get free food its only fair |

Since no one can upload more than 15 pics a day, the most they could do is swamp a page!

Even if Admin DID want to decrease the number of pics that could be submitted in a day, it would hardly take a minute of anyone's time to change the value of Max_Pics_Per_Day from 15 to a lower value!
"Filter your pic preferences when looking at pics added... Problem solved "
I can't see any way to filter the Pics page to show less pics per profile, which is what the OP wanted. |

. Why would anyone be in the slightest bit bothered about how many pictures someone has uploaded in day ?. How many members would check how many someone has uploaded in a day?. |

On a not dissimilar vein why does it say on the "manage photo's" in our profile state it is limited to a total of 50 photo's yet we've seen some couples with many more pix? Just spotted a couples profile with a total of 139. Does the "50" relate only to "public pix"?

Thank you for that, makes sense now, wish they'd put some kind of note on the manage photo's page though, they might get more "silvers" like us then think of going "gold". |

Dude you're not the only person with programming skills, it's not a great suggestion as others are pointing out, and needs a hell of a lot more planning, budgeting, testing, than you've given it, and more importantly people have to want it.

Pics are constantly being uploaded anyway so if someone uploads loads they'll not be in new pics for long. Unless they're constantly deleting and re-uploading stuff? |
