Recently tried to access FabSwingers at my local pub which offers free Cloud wifi. Now getting a message blocking the site saying it's classed as porn. This has also happened in another pub chain. It's a bit of a pain. Anyone else had the same thing? |

The Cloud is part of BSKYB who with other Internet providers etc, are following Govt regs on restricting access to Porn and other similar sites.
The Cloud do stress you can get sites cleared for access but I have found this process is slow, and only works for a few days until the Block crops up again!
Best just to disconnect The Cloud when you need to! Simple. |

The pub I work in has O2 wi fi and when I access the internet, it goes straight to the brewery website so if I want to log onto Fab I have to go outside. I suspect its done for publicity for the pub, to show what they offer eg special deals and also perhaps protect children who might see what you are looking at. Annoying but that's the way it is |

Install opera mini browser and you'll be able to access fab with that. It works for me on my works network and it bypasses EE content blocker when that rears its ugly head in chrome browser. |

"Use a VPN. You won't get blocked then."
However if you are spotted surfing porn in a pub, and FAB is classed as that, you may be in trouble for displaying it in public.
Most filters are in place to prevent any prying eyes viewing something inadvertantly as it is the provider of the WiFi that will be held liable also. |

"Its just the way pubs filter out porn. No idea why when you have to be 18 to drink anyway."
Because not all pub users are over the age of 18 and not all people who provide free Internet want people to use it for porn lol
Its no hardship. Just turn your wifi off and use your data if you're that determined to get on fab. |
