It would be a kind of 'soft' block, where you could still see each other's profiles, but their (conceited and/or foolish) status updates, and (constant stream of) new photos, meets etc. no longer show up on your update page. " I like this idea,many a profile I have blocked,more because I was in an oddball mood n didn't like the other persons update,than not wanting to have contact with the person in the future.  | |||

" Well if you dont like the pictures or status messages and meet listings from a profile,then block it.Otherwise your moaning about a problem that is not there.If your not going to meet them chat/cam with them,then why would you still want to be able to view their profile  | |||

As far as I know, anyway. I didn't open the thread to moan about anything – just to ask for a feature that I thought would be useful. Just because you don't experience a particular problem, doesn't mean it's non-existent. This isn't about people I dislike and am never going to meet. Obviously, I can just block those people. This is about people I might actually *like* in person, but whose online behaviour can be annoying. | |||
