They are supposed to just last 24 hours are they not? Why do I regular see ones that are still up days later??? Just seen one that says Monday on it. So 3 days ago! |

Taken right from the status update page:
"Current status is a fun way to keep your profile fresh and interesting and keep people up to date on what you're doing or looking for right this minute! If you haven't updated your status in 2 days, we blank it so that it doesn't go stale."
Although sometimes mine last three days, so maybe they forget.  |
