We are older than you and don't have similar problems. Maybe it's different where you live but here and in Spain we are about the average age.
You may find socials, parties and clubs worth trying. Search the forum and look at club reviews.
I'm not commenting on your profile content as you haven't asked. However block capitals in profiles are hard to read and will put some people off. |

A good proportion of people who use the web to contact each other will be on here or other sites. If you aren't having any luck here it's doubtful a site dedicated to over 50s would be any more successful.
Clubs are good for meeting face to face  .
Could there be other reasons for the problem? |

Definitely don't want a separate site for over 50s
It would separate us from all our fab younger friends.

Exactly this. Not quite 50 yet but not far off it and we have loads of fun. Have no plans to go on a saga holiday just yet and we would not be inclined to join an over 50s.
OP I didn't even read your profile. I can't help but read block capitals in a shouty ranty voice in my head ... It's too exhausting. A profile re-write and some new pictures on public view might be more tempting. |

I wouldn't want to be separated by my many younger or older friends I have on here so my answer would be no.
Not really sure why your having problems meeting perhaps it's your block caps shouting profile?
Maybe consider a rewrite stating what your looking for and what you have to offer potential meets.

It is indeed just a number, but unfortunately you can't get away from the fact that however young you may feel and however active you are, many people do indeed see a number and then shy away. I feel like 25...I run 10k's like a 40 year old but this site has a policy of not allowing even the slightest contact outside a specified age group. Fine. Can accept that, but let's not pretend that it's just a number. In the minds of many, that number is a deal breaker. |

I have met people who's age range precludes me, they have contacted me.
The filters are a tool they use to do the choosing at their leisure. |

We was banned from the forum and the advice is good but your in 2 places and we are not some areas are good some are bad and we dont like going to clubs around here as no one takes notice they have there own little crowd and cant afford the entrance fee we was just asking if there should be an over 50 site thats all |

We write block capitals and saying wot we want but wot is the point when peps still.send winks and invites and we dont do pics rather see the real bodies like a lot of you least we have face pic thats more importance than body pics to many pic collectors on this site that dont want sex |

The way I see it is that you're running your profile in the way you want, it isn't bringing you any meets but you aren't prepared to change it. You have a choice now, take the advice offered and possibly improve the situation or don't and carry on as you are. |

Over 50 & not having a problem, but then my preference is 25-40 & tbh tend to attract mostly under 30's. Everyone has their own age preference as they do sexual preference, so I set my filters accordingly & focus on what people excite me.
If you're finding you're not exciting people ask yourself why, & either try a new approach or stick with what's tried & tested.
I haven't checked your Veris but if you've got 31 you must have a decent network of play buddies. |

We're both over 50 and have no problems with meetings and we never send face pics.
Agree with everyone that CAPITAL LETTERS very off putting. If you use lower case, the spellcheck might help too....
It's so hard to read as it's mostly just one long rant of a sentence.
You might try a few more pics too. There's no need to have face pics on your profile; few couples do on here.
We think that a real issue could be that the one pic you have is nearly 5 years old and not really in focus. Surely you can do better than that.
Also agree that, as you asked, not sure why you've taken no notice at all of all the advice you've been given.
Hope you take this advice better than the last couple who asked us for some after a disastrous social - they just blocked us!

Meeting an over 50 is like getting a good book out of the Fab library again and sometimes again. The pages can get a bit worn and dog eared but it's still a bloody good read. |

We actually prefer to meet people around our own age. (late 40's 50's) I think its a great idea to have a separate forum/sub site but until fab actually listens to suggestions I guess the age filters are the only alternatives.
We were playing with the idea of an over 45's mixed party but to be fair we dont have the patience to organise the proverbial in a brewery |

It sounds a bit twee but one of the things I really like about Fabswingers is the diversity of the people on this site.

I always enjoy meeting more mature people (over 50s)and have had some really horny times with them and hope to continue.
I have no problem at all meeting younger folks but it often seems to me most younger people put an age limit on their profies which would invariably exclude me.

I think the topic has been asked and well answered - However as one of my old veries said - Age is just a number BUT it is surprising how many profiles have 50 as a Cut off - Yes everyone entitled to their own preferences but it is a bigger challenge especially for the more mature guys here - But as others say it can bring lots of benefits but you have to get through the barrier |

I don't think couples over fifty or even single females have any problems m eeting other swingers, it's like males like myself that have the problems because there is so many younger guys on here couples and single females will always get guys to meet them. I don't have this problem at the clubs because couples can see what you like when you chat and have fun with them and I have some good write ups on Fab, but fined it hard to meet couples for a private meet, can anyone help. Perhaps a little more care about how you present yourselves might help.
Potential play mates have so little to go on, if you have negative comments or just one or two images in your profile it can be off putting.
We, like most, always look for things like: age group
length of time on site, verifications, positive profiles, sexy but not crude images and perhaps, interests.
If these things are missing we are unlikely to make contact or respond to requests.
In the year since joining this site we have had absolutely no problems and have just met very lovely people |

From our experience there seems to be quite alot of younger that seem to want to meet us. Not quite sure why but not complaining.
Maybe it's coz Mrs N is still flipping gorgeous. I just tag along

Op complains nobody will meet them. Advice is offered and the reply is that they have lots of good feedback so nothings gonna get changed.
Some people are just awkward that way and can't see past their own noses.

I am now over 50 and often get compliments from men and women who are much younger than me.
At work I have more stamina than younger employees and have a lot more experience in the bedroom.
I am fit and healthy and have a good and positive outlook on life so hey bring it on for the over 50's.

It's a shame because over 50s have more experience and can often offer far more in the way of great times. They are far less likely to mess you about that some of the bedpost notching players.so come on guys and girls open up those age preferences and enjoy life. |

Think some may have misunderstood my post. I certainly wasn't having a go at any age group. Merely pointing out that setting a maximum age of 50 can result in missing opportunities to meet decent genuine mature people who perhaps would like to get in touch. Nobody was offended, well certainly not me. . Our lower age limit results in us missing opportunities with decent, genuine younger people who would like to get in tough c'est la vie |

But some will, concentrate on them.
If you went to the pub hoping to meet someone to ultimately have sex with would you expect a 35 year old woman to be interested? I wouldn't expect a man of that age to be interested in me in real life. |

Tldr: OP punctuation is key, what you write is incredibly hard to read.
Can't give profile advice as you've not asked for it, but it's not great and would put us off.
We've no problem meeting people who are 50+ as long as they are interesting, polite and wear their ages well.
