Should photo verification be mandatory?

I got a message the other day from a 'couple', with a profile pic of the supposed couple and got sent a pic of the woman.
Anyway found out the so called couple was a single gay guy. What i don't understand is that i was invited over, but i'd never just meet at the drop of a hat without talking a bit first. So if i did just show up, what was he expecting would happen?
'Oh the gf has gone out, but we can still play'. Has that ever worked on anyone, ever?
This is why i ask should photo veri be necessary before you can send/receive messages? This isn't an isolated incident either, i've friended a few couples who's statuses are ALWAYS, '(male) alone looking to meet while gf is away'. Months later the so called gf is away lol.
Would completely eliminate fakes. |

I agree it should be mandatory, while it won't completely get rid of fakes it will get rid of some. It's not exactly difficult!
Of course you always have the option to only speak to photo verified people if you want to. |

No it wouldn't...and it would drive away people such as ourselves who have never found it necessary. We don't even look to check if people are photo verified because it's an utterly pointless tool in choosing who to enter into dialogue with or to meet... |

And to get fake verifications, why do you think there are so many profiles of STUNNING women dotted about on here, who are verified by guys who strangely, haven't met anyone else?
I mean, if these guys are eligible enough to successfully swing with women of that level of sexual attractiveness, how come they're struggling otherwise...? |

Do not think it would make much difference, with photo shop or what ever you could make your own pic up.
We are not photo verified and never look to see if any one is. |

Anyone with photoshop skills could fake a photo verification. Just use your common sense - ask to chat to both on cam or on the phone, or have a three way group kik chat if people are not verified. |

no it wouldnt at all, it would drive away more genuine people that dont want forcing into it, we have never been photo verified and never had any problems. |

Actually the lycra clad arse is mine. And there are plenty of pictures of both of us privately, neither of us are showing face pics of publicly though (although I have previously)
But thanks for the unrequited feedback, obviously the dozens of verifications and the fact I've been on the swinging scene for several years are all negated by our picture choice!  |
