We hate the new chat and a lot of the regular people who have supported this site for a long time seem to agree with us (not that we have canvassed for opinions but we have seen numerous remarks and comments in the old chat room about how they dislike it)- the only thing decent about it in our opinion is the cam picture quality - the new private messages hides begind the chat-room so multitasking/multichatting is not easy without missing either people talking to us in chatroom or a response to a provate message, its difficult to see where people are from without having to open and read profiles (are people in the North West seeking to meet and make close friends with people for example from Kent or Devon), and there is so much directing going on, that all the rooms might as well be called Directing rooms. We rarely see any Mods in the new chatrooms and we wonder perhaps if that is because they don't like it in there too ????? 
So here's a few idea's - If you can't amend peoples name to show location as is done in old chat then why not have regional rooms i.e North, Midlands and South (after all there's Scotland, Ireland, Wales)and how about making the Private chat in tabs instead of floating chat boxes that hide behind main chat, with new messages causing the tab to flash and enabling the user to continue chatting in main chatroom with others. |

well said!! iv tried it a number of times, and the private boxes here there and everywhere really do my head in and disturb the flow of chat in the main. the name listing in bright blue is ouchies and hard to know where peeps r from!!! 
oh a good note, i do like the poke button, find that a lil funny!! but im easily pleased lol ha ha xxxx |

Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback and we take these comments on-board 
We're looking at how to improve the PM facility (possibly in tabs as you suggest) so they don't get hidden* and we're adding new mods; a couple more are going on-stream this coming week.
Also noted re: locations.

Don't forget you can set the private mails to be friends only or turn them off using the drop-down box above the roomlist

Agreeing with Baileys/Bacardi here. The Userplane chat had a quick view of location and age, which I really miss in new chat - the only way to see this is to open the full profile.

Guys, its a new facility, it will have bugs and teething troubles.
Rather than post a critique, post a supportive message giving your ideas for improvements and admin will take them onboard and do what they can to improve things.

folks i'm hoping to post some constructive critisisms..
new chat .. the cam quality is fantastic.. thats the best thing i've found.. things i dont agree with.. being able to be in multiple rooms at anyone time. AUDIO on as default is a deffinate no no!! agrees location would be a nice feature. to keep the PM screen at the front would be good. if i'm honest .. stricter mods.. lots of mild but none the less directing going on in general chat right front of mods..4 hr bans i'm sure would make people get the message |
