Mutual Hotlisting

It occurs to me if I have a Hotlist and one of those on that list has me on their hotlist that possibly the mutual attraction might be desirous to be flagged in some way. A hot-wink if you will.

Some use the hotlist as a way to flag up profiles they don't like so they can keep an eye on them, for example if they post personal remarks in their status or if it's someone they know in vanilla life and they want to ensure they both don't turn up to the same party.

I suppose that could be an idea too. Sort of a private avoid list? Not visible to anyone except yourself.

of all the things I thought hotlist might mean , avoid, was not one of them. I generally use block but I guess that might be a little too antagonistic. Hmm okay maybe we need a Hot or Not lists as well . thanks for the reply though

I use mine for people who amuse me, and not in a positive way. I have 1 person who has been leaving every week for the past year. I wouldn't want him to know he's there.

We ( myself snd friends ) use it for exactly the above but also as we only add people we have met to friends occasionally will add odd hot person we chat too.

I also tell anyone interested in my events to add me too hotlist. . They'll see my status feed updates but not my fanny pictures lol x

It's a good idea though x

In your bed

We use it as a pre friends list.

So we may not be meeting for a few weeks so rather than pestering someone when we can't meet we bob them on the hotlist and come back at a later date to see if we interest them when we are more able to meet.

Exactly how we use it. Hotlist fine as it is.

Maybe the option to turn off the "hot wink" would be a viable option as well. OP nice idea though. We like it

"i use the hot list to keep tabs on profiles i have reported to see if admin have kicked them off "

Admin tend to block the reporter and reported from seeing each other so unless you use basic search you will not know if left site.

I use the hotlist to highlight profiles I like and would consider meeting. I don't usually message straight away as I am not able to meet at the drop of a hat. It would be nice to know if they felt the same way.

I think it's a great idea for those who use the hotlist as a hotlist

When looking at a profile I can see an icon that says if they are a friend. Why not have an Icon that says you are on their hotlist?

You Dont Need to Know, right now

"When looking at a profile I can see an icon that says if they are a friend. Why not have an Icon that says you are on their hotlist?"

As several people have said above, not everyone uses their hotlist for people they think are 'hot'. So an icon to say 'you're on their hotlist' would just trigger more unwanted messages for these people. If Fab bring in this suggestion it would need another option on the privacy page, so that those who don't want it can turn it off.

Think this would only work if it was an opt in and opt out as many don't use the hotlist for people they want to meet....too many to justify it being permanent to everyone profile probably
