Following on from various threads about couples needing to have 2 accounts if both wanting to chat in the new chat rooms....
One of the disadvantages of chatting like this in new chat (over sharing a login in userplane) is the whispers/PM. When sharing a login in userplane, both see the outgoing and incoming whispers.
If we have 2 logins for new chat, PM's are private.
So, is it possible to either let users create there own private room (maybe a max of 4 people) or to have a three way PM box, you start a PM and then invite a 3rd person to the conversation. In a similar way to MSN.

Good point steve, as a couple we like that both can see in userplane so agree something like an invitation to join private messaging is great idea, we use this type of thing in msn and think it would make new chat easier for couples like ourselves.  |
