We've updated newchat this morning with the following changes:
* Chatters can choose their text colour/font style in pretty much the same way they can on oldstyle chat.
* We've done a lot of work behind the scenes to make the chat room safer and prevent attacks from spammers (both in room and by private chat) and idiots flooding the room.
We plan to open it more widely from the current verified/suporters who have access (we'll probably do this next week), at which point:
* Users will be able to join chat and view cams, view the chat, but won't be able to type in chat or broadcast their own cam or show in the userlist for 72hrs from joining Fab. This is to prevent users on short timeouts from re-joining under another name, and helps prevents idiot newbies/spammers. Users can get instant access to write in chat by either photo-verifying or becoming a site supporter (or they just wait until 72hrs is over).
Like we say if chat is proving relatively reliable we'll open it to more users later next week.
We know there is still an issue with some users unable to broadcast cams on newchat and we hope to have that resolved within the week.

Is there any way that the chat can be configured to remember the last font/colour that you used? |

Thanks ADMIN it looks brill it took me a while to get used to postng smillies though, but the post on the forum help section sorted me!
New chat is FAB excuse the pun.

Love new chat although had to get used to it, love the way cams and rooms work, and private message set up is excellent. I do miss whispers for one off little personal messages to peeps.
Would like to see smilie automated, I'm ok with winks/smiles/frowns but can't remember the others!!
Oh and Poking is just the business - love the noise it makes - it instantly makes people smile!
