When moderators close a thread, it would be really helpful if they could add to the last message why they have taken that action.
Are threads only closed when rules are broken? Some I can't fathom out why.... |

Some are done to save repetition of numerous threads.
Others you just know will turn nasty so they get closed.
If any have contact details in them, again they'll be pulled.
Mods have enough to do without explaining themselves, it's generally easy to work out why they've been shut. |

Threads get closed for a number of different reasons. Most of the time its fairly obvious, although sometimes it wont be because some of the problematic posts will have been removed at the same time.
If a thread is closed by one of the forum mods we do usually post at the end of it but remember some threads are closed by Admin and not the forum mods. |
