The idea of a hot list is like any feature, to be used how a user sees fit.
I use my hot list for all those people who are 'leaving this shit site, cause no one will fuck me' to see how long they stay, and for profiles I've reported to see if action is taken. Blocking them will take that away. |

Use it for this reason too. Also for those who put up statuses that make me chuckle and those who seem to have an almost hourly rant about someone or thing. |
